Hygger Nature Pro Aquarium Light
The Hygger Nature Pro Aquarium Light is a sleek full-spectrum LED designed for freshwater planted tanks, community aquariums, and biotope setups. WRGB diodes give plants the wavelengths they need for healthy growth while making fish colors pop. Slim profile sits flush on the tank rim, and the included controller dials in brightness and color mix for any aquascape. Browse all freshwater plants or our complete freshwater supplies.
Features
- Full-spectrum WRGB LEDs — White, Red, Green, Blue diodes blend to deliver the wavelengths plants need (450 nm & 660 nm peaks) and showcase fish color in vivid tones.
- Adjustable brightness and color — built-in controller lets you mix W/R/G/B intensity to match low/medium/high-light plants. Dial down for shy fish, dial up for carpet plants.
- Sleek slim profile — low-profile aluminum housing sits flat on the tank rim with minimal visual footprint.
- Plant-friendly PAR — designed to push enough usable light to grow Anubias, Java fern, Bucephalandra, swords, stem plants, and most carpeting species at the appropriate setting.
- Easy install — extendable legs accommodate a range of rimmed and rimless tanks.
Best For
- Low to medium-light planted tanks — Anubias, mosses, ferns, Bucephalandra, Cryptocoryne
- Community freshwater aquariums — color-enhancing light brings out tetras, rasboras, livebearers

FAQ
How long should I run the light each day?
Most planted tanks do well with 6–8 hours of light per day. Longer photoperiods promote algae before plant growth in newer tanks. Start at 6 hours and adjust based on plant response and algae levels.
Is it strong enough for carpet plants?
At full brightness, the Nature Pro produces enough PAR for moderate-light carpets (Monte Carlo, dwarf hairgrass) in shallow tanks. For tall tanks or demanding carpets, you may want to pair with a second fixture or supplement CO₂.
Can I use it on a saltwater tank?
The Nature Pro is optimized for freshwater plants and fish. For reef tanks, look at our Red Sea ReefLED G2 or other reef-specific LEDs that deliver the blue spectrum corals need.
Does it have a built-in timer?
The included controller supports manual brightness/color adjustment. For automated photoperiod, pair with a basic outlet timer.
