Product description

The Innovative Marine AccuDrip takes the guesswork out of acclimating new livestock. Hang the rigid tube on your acclimation container and the transparent, self-priming siphon bulb starts a gentle drip that doubles as a visual drip counter. A precision thumb-wheel clamp lets you dial in the exact drip rate, so new fish, corals, and invertebrates adjust to your water slowly and safely. Works for freshwater and saltwater alike.

Features

  • Self-priming siphon bulb: starts the drip with a couple of squeezes, no sucking on tubing.
  • Built-in drip counter: the clear bulb lets you watch and count every drop so you can keep a steady rate.
  • Precision thumb-wheel clamp: fine-tune the flow to a slow, safe drip and lock it in.
  • Hangs on any tank: the rigid hook tube clips onto a bucket, cup, or acclimation box.
  • Fish and coral safe: gentle drip acclimation for sensitive livestock, freshwater or saltwater.

How to Use

Float or pour your new arrival and its shipping water into a clean container below your tank. Hang the AccuDrip tube over the tank rim, drop the other end into the container, and squeeze the bulb to start the siphon. Use the thumb-wheel to set a slow drip, roughly two to four drips per second, and let it run for 30 to 60 minutes until the container holds two to three times the original water volume. Then net your livestock into the tank, leaving the shipping water behind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why drip acclimate? A slow drip lets new livestock adjust gradually to differences in temperature, pH, and salinity, which greatly reduces stress and shock compared to just dumping them in.

How slow should the drip be? A good starting point is two to four drips per second. More sensitive animals like shrimp and coral appreciate a slower rate over a longer time.

Can I reuse it? Yes. Rinse it in fresh water after each use and it is ready for the next acclimation.
