As water passes through, the nozzle spins and sweeps a roughly 40 degree circular pattern around your tank, breaking up dead spots, lifting detritus into the water column, and boosting surface agitation and oxygen exchange. Does it need power? No. The SpinStream is driven entirely by the water from your return pump or power head, so there are no cords or controllers.

Will it fit my tank? It fits all Innovative Marine NUVO AIO aquariums directly, and the three included cut-to-fit rubber adapters let it attach to most other power heads, canisters, and returns.

What flow rate do I need? It works best with pumps in the 52 to 600 GPH range. Too little flow and it will not spin, too much and it can spin very fast.

Is it just for reef tanks? No. Reefers love it for varied coral flow, but it is great in any tank that benefits from better circulation, including planted freshwater setups.
