Neptune Systems 2-Month Trident ACM Reagent Kit
Two months of automated Alk, Ca and Mg testing. The Neptune Systems 2-Month Trident ACM Reagent Kit has everything you need to change out the reagents in your Trident Marine Water Analyzer. The new bottles drop straight into the Trident's reagent holder, and the swap only takes a few minutes. Keep your testing on schedule and browse more reef supplies.
How Long It Lasts
On the Trident's default testing schedule (4 alkalinity, 2 calcium and 2 magnesium tests per day), one kit lasts about 2 months:
- 240 alkalinity tests (Reagent A, changed every month, so the kit includes two bottles)
- 120 calcium tests (changed every 2 months)
- 120 magnesium tests (changed every 2 months)
Neptune Systems recommends keeping on hand no more Trident reagent than you expect to use within the next 12 months.

FAQ
Does this work without a Trident?
No. These reagents are made for the Neptune Trident analyzer, which runs on an Apex system. They are not a standalone test kit.
Why are there two Reagent A bottles?
Alkalinity is tested most often on the default schedule (4 times a day), so Reagent A is changed every month. Calcium and magnesium reagents last the full 2 months.
Will it last longer if I test less often?
The 2-month estimate is based on the default schedule of 4 alkalinity, 2 calcium and 2 magnesium tests a day. Neptune recommends not stocking more reagent than you will use within 12 months.
Is it for freshwater tanks?
No. It is listed for saltwater aquariums.
