How It Works
Iron and manganese sit at the center of the biochemical pathways corals use to build green and yellow pigments. In most closed reef systems these metals get consumed faster than water changes replace them, and free iron oxidizes out of solution quickly. Bio-Metals supplies iron and manganese in three forms at once: ionic for immediate uptake, plus complexed and chelated for a slow, steady release. That gives coral tissue a consistent supply to drive vivid green coloration instead of a spike-and-crash cycle.

Dosing
Add Bio-Metals into an area of high water flow. Dose daily based on how heavily your reef is stocked, then fine-tune to keep iron between 0.1 and 0.3 ppm. As a reference, 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises iron by roughly 0.01 ppm. If the bottle has settled, invert it gently 3 to 4 times before dosing.

FAQ
Will Bio-Metals turn my corals green?
It intensifies the green and yellow pigments corals already have by supplying the iron and manganese those pigments depend on. It will not add color a coral is not genetically capable of, but it brings faded greens and yellows back to life.
Do I have to buy the other Quantum bottles too?
For the best result, yes. Bio-Metals is Step 4 of a system designed to run with Bio-Enhance, Bio-Gen, and Bio-Kalium. It still helps on its own, but the full lineup delivers the complete coloring effect.
Can I run it on an auto-doser?
Yes. It is a stable liquid made for daily dosing and runs cleanly through any dosing pump. Add it to a high-flow area of the tank.
Could it cause algae?
Iron can feed nuisance algae if you overdose it. Test your iron and dose to keep it in the 0.1 to 0.3 ppm range rather than pouring in extra.
