Quantum Easy E Calcium
Quantum Easy E is the calcium half of the Quantum Easy Reefer two-part dosing system. It delivers ionic and complexed calcium along with magnesium, strontium, barium, iron, manganese, and other trace metals, the building blocks corals use to grow strong aragonite skeletons and hold their color. Why Calcium Matters
Stony corals, clams, and coralline algae build their skeletons from aragonite, which is calcium carbonate. As your reef grows it pulls calcium out of the water continuously, and a tank that runs low on calcium slows down and loses color. Easy E replaces that calcium in ionic and complexed forms for fast and sustained availability, and it carries a suite of trace elements along with it. The result is steady growth and better coloration when dosed consistently and balanced against alkalinity.

Add Easy E into an area of high water flow, ideally on the opposite side of the tank from where you dose Easy Z. Calcium demand depends on how much stony coral you keep, so dose to maintain calcium between 405 and 440 ppm and adjust to your test results. As a reference, 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises calcium by roughly 1.1 ppm. Keep calcium and alkalinity in balance for stable, healthy growth.
