Real Reef Arches are eco-friendly, aquacultured (man-made) reef rock shaped into open arches that instantly add height, caves, and swim-throughs to your saltwater or reef aquarium. Cultivated in greenhouses instead of harvested from the ocean, each piece is lightweight, extremely porous, and colored in natural purples, pinks, and reds, with none of the pests, nuisance algae, or contaminants that ride in on wild live rock.

Each box is a random assortment of similarly shaped arches. Larger grades contain fewer, bigger pieces, which is why the 6-piece Nano box can cost more than the 4-piece Medium.

Aquascaping tips

• Dry-fit your layout before gluing. Bond arches into stable structures with cyanoacrylate gel and reef-safe epoxy putty.
• Rinse in RO/DI or saltwater before adding. Because it starts dry, let the tank cure and cycle so the rock becomes fully bio-active.
• Leave open space and flow around and under the arches for coral placement and easy maintenance.

FAQ

Is this live rock? It is aquacultured dry rock. It has the look and porosity of live rock but ships dry and pest-free, then becomes bio-active as your tank cycles.

Can I use it in freshwater? No. Real Reef is made for marine and reef tanks; it holds a high, stable pH that is not suited to most freshwater setups.

Will my pieces look exactly like the photos? Each box is a random assortment of similar arch shapes, so your exact pieces will vary.

How much rock do I need? A common guideline is roughly 1 to 1.5 lb per gallon, though open arch aquascapes often use less by design for better flow and swim space.
