The Red Sea Reefer Media Cup is a replacement/spare media cup designed to fit Red Sea REEFER series sumps. Use it to run carbon, GFO, phosphate remover, or any other bagged media exactly where water flows through the sump for effective passive filtration.

Pairs perfectly with Red Sea REEF-SPEC Activated Carbon: 100g, 500g, or 1000g.

What media can I run in it?
Anything that comes bagged or can be bagged — activated carbon, GFO, phosphate remover, biopellets (with adequate flow), etc.

What carbon should I use?
We recommend Red Sea REEF-SPEC Carbon, which is formulated specifically for reef aquariums.
