SFBB Shrimpery Brine Shrimp Hatchery
Hands-off hatching that separates the shrimp for you. The SFBB Shrimpery is a compact, self-contained brine shrimp hatchery that uses the natural behavior of baby brine shrimp to do the work, no messy siphoning. The shrimp are drawn to light and swim up into a clean collection vial, leaving the shells and salty water behind, so you simply scoop them out ready to feed. It includes the hatchery, a collection vial with lid, and three Hatch Mix packets. Keep it running with Hatch Mix refills.
Why the Shrimpery
- Self-separating: baby brine shrimp swim toward light into a clean collection vial
- No siphoning or straining shells, just scoop and feed
- Compact and simple, a great first hatchery
- Comes with 3 Hatch Mix packets to start hatching right away
- Fresh live fry food on demand
What Is Included
- Hatchery with lid
- Collection vial with lid
- 3 packets of Hatch Mix (brine shrimp eggs plus salt)
How It Works
- Add one Hatch Mix packet and about 1 liter of water, and keep it warm (80 to 82 F, pH 8 or above)
- Eggs hatch in 24 to 36 hours, and light draws the baby brine shrimp up into the collection vial
- The heavier salt water stays behind, so the shrimp gather in clean fresh water
- Scoop the shrimp from the vial and feed; keep collecting for up to 24 hours
