The Squeaky's Digital Thermometer is a simple, reliable LCD aquarium thermometer with an external probe. The compact display sticks to the front glass with a suction cup so you can read the temperature at a glance, while the sealed probe sits inside the tank for an accurate reading of actual water temperature. How to Use It

1. Pop the battery into the back of the display unit.
2. Stick the LCD display to the outside of your tank glass with the included suction cup (or magnetic mount, where included).
3. Drop the sensor probe into the water and secure the cable with the small suction cup so it doesn't drift.
4. Press the unit button to toggle between °F and °C if needed.
5. Check the reading any time. For most tropical fish and reef setups, target 76–80°F.

Why use a separate thermometer when my heater has a thermostat? Heater thermostats fail. A second-opinion digital thermometer catches a stuck thermostat before it cooks the tank.

Is the probe safe for reef tanks? Yes — the sealed probe is corrosion-resistant and reef-safe. Just rinse with RO water when you do tank cleanings.

How often do I replace the battery? Typically once a year with daily use. If readings start flickering or drifting, swap the battery.

What temperature should my tank be? Tropical freshwater & reef tanks: 76–80°F. Coldwater goldfish: 65–72°F. Discus: 82–86°F. Always match your specific livestock.
