Tideline Mesh Filter Sock 3 x 5 in

The 3 x 5 in mesh sock that fits the Flow Matrix sock tray. Flow Matrix is Tideline's modular rear chamber system for the Lagoon AIO: instead of one fixed basket you stack the pieces you actually want, and swap them as the tank changes. These fit the Lagoon 31G and Lagoon 47G we stock. Browse our equipment and filter media.

Why It Is Useful

• Mesh, so it catches debris while passing water freely
• Rinses and reuses, unlike a felt sock that mats down
• Sized for the Flow Matrix sock tray in the Lagoon AIO
• A small size, so expect to rinse it more often than a 4 or 7 in sock

• Filter Media Cup, a tall cup for loose media

Frequently Asked Questions

Mesh or felt?
Mesh passes more water and rinses clean, so it lasts. Felt catches finer particles but clogs faster and mats after a few washes.

How do I clean it?
Rinse it inside out under a tap. If it stays dirty, soak in a dilute bleach solution, rinse hard and dry fully before it goes back in.

Will it fit my other tanks?
Only if they take a 3 x 5 in sock. Our other socks run 4 x 8 in and larger, so check the collar size first.
