Two Little Fishies C-Balance
Two Little Fishies C-Balance is a two-part calcium and alkalinity supplement that keeps your reef aquarium's water chemistry in perfect balance. Dosed in equal parts, Part A and Part B, it maintains calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, and strontium at the ratios found in natural seawater, giving stony corals, clams, and coralline algae exactly what they need to grow and color up. Formulated by Julian Sprung, it is simple to use and self-balancing, so it will not throw your other parameters out of line. Explore more of our reef supplements.
Why two-part dosing
Growing corals constantly consume calcium and carbonate, or alkalinity, and those two must be replenished together and in balance. C-Balance provides both as a matched pair: Part A supplies ionic calcium along with magnesium and strontium, and Part B supplies balanced carbonate alkalinity. Adding equal amounts of each keeps everything in the correct ratio without the guesswork.
How to use
- Add equal parts of C-Balance Part A and Part B to your aquarium daily or as needed
- Dose into an area of strong flow, adding Part A and Part B separately, a few minutes apart
- Adjust the daily amount based on your tank's calcium and alkalinity test results and coral demand
- Test calcium and alkalinity regularly to dial in the right dose
For saltwater reef aquariums. Follow the label instructions for dosing rates by tank size.
