Aquarium Co-Op Easy Potassium is a liquid potassium supplement for planted freshwater aquariums. It delivers pure potassium, one of the key nutrients your plants need, without adding nitrogen or phosphorus, so you can correct a deficiency without throwing your other parameters off. Use it to clear up the telltale pinholes and yellowing in potassium-hungry plants. Pair it with our live aquarium plants and plant additives.
Why Dose Potassium
Potassium is one of the three big macronutrients your aquarium plants rely on. When it runs low, older leaves develop very distinctive pinholes, often rimmed with brown or yellow, and those holes keep growing until the leaf decays away. Easy Potassium replaces that potassium directly so your plants can keep building healthy new growth. In most tanks Easy Green provides plenty of potassium on its own, but high-light, CO2-injected, and heavily planted tanks often want the extra boost.

FAQ
How do I know my plants need potassium?
The classic sign is small pinholes in older leaves, often rimmed with brown or yellow, that grow larger over time. If you see that, Easy Potassium is a good fix.
Do I need it if I already use Easy Green?
Often not. Easy Green supplies plenty of potassium for most tanks. Reach for Easy Potassium when you run high light or CO2, keep potassium-hungry plants, or still see deficiency signs after dosing Easy Green.
Is it safe for shrimp and snails?
Yes. Dosed as directed it is safe for fish, shrimp, and snails in planted tanks.
Will it cause algae or raise my nitrates?
Easy Potassium adds potassium only, with no nitrogen or phosphorus, so it will not raise your nitrate or phosphate levels.
