How to Use
Stack the media in the AquaClear basket from the bottom up: BioFoam first, then the activated carbon, then BioMax on top. Rinse the foam and BioMax in used aquarium water at each cleaning and reuse them; replace the carbon about every three to four weeks. To protect your biological filter, avoid changing every piece of media at the same time. Stagger the carbon changes and keep at least some established BioFoam or BioMax in place.
