How It Works

The skimmer clips onto the AquaClear intake and adds a floating surface-draw tube. As the filter runs, it skims the top layer of water first, so surface scum, protein film, and floating debris get pulled into the filter instead of building up on top. The result is better gas exchange, brighter light penetration, and a clear, glassy surface, which is especially helpful in planted tanks and heavily fed setups.
