Is there a subscription? No. The HYDROS app and cloud access are free.

Does it keep working if the internet goes down? Yes. Schedules and safety rules run on the controller itself; you lose only remote access until the connection returns.

Can I expand it later? Yes. HYDROS controllers link over the Command Bus or Wi-Fi into one collective, so you can add outlets, sensors and dosers as the system grows.

Fresh or saltwater? Both. The controller does not care what is in the tank; pick probes and sensors to suit.
