Marina Air Control Valves
The Marina Air Control Valve is a compact gang valve that splits a single air pump outlet into two or three separately adjustable air lines. Each outlet has its own metal control screw, so you can fine-tune or shut off the airflow to every device on its own. It is the easy way to run several air stones, sponge filters, or bubble ornaments from one pump and balance the bubbles exactly how you want. Safe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
You will need an air source to feed it. Pair the valve with a Marina air pump, run airline tubing to your air stones, and browse all air pumps and accessories at Squeaky's Aquatics.
Why the Control Valve
- Independent flow control. A metal dial on each outlet lets you tune, throttle, or fully close that line without touching the others.
- One pump, many devices. Split a single pump outlet to run two or three air stones, sponge filters, or ornaments at once.
- Balance the bubbles. Even out airflow so a nearby stone does not steal all the air from a longer or higher line.
- Easy to install. Fits standard airline tubing inline between the pump and your devices, with a bracket to mount it near the tank.
- Fresh or salt. Inert plastic and metal, safe for freshwater and saltwater setups.
Choose Your Size
| Model | Outlets | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 2-Way | 2 adjustable outlets | Running and balancing two air lines from one pump |
| 3-Way | 3 adjustable outlets | Feeding three air devices, or leaving one line spare |
How to Use
- Cut your airline and fit the valve inline between the air pump and your air stones or filters.
- Connect one length of tubing to each outlet, then run each to its device.
- Turn each control screw to set the airflow for that line, from full open to fully closed.
- If the pump sits below the water line, add a check valve on each line so water cannot siphon back.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this valve do?
It takes one air line from your pump and splits it into two or three outlets, each with its own dial. You can send air to several devices at once and set the flow to each one separately.
Can I adjust each outlet on its own?
Yes. Every outlet has its own metal control screw, so you can throttle or completely shut off one line while the others keep running.
Do I need an air pump?
Yes. The valve only splits and regulates air, it does not produce it. Connect it to an air pump such as the Marina air pump.
2-Way or 3-Way?
Choose the 2-Way to run two air lines from one pump, or the 3-Way to run three, or two plus a spare line you can open later.
Is it safe for saltwater?
Yes. It is made from inert plastic and metal and is safe for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
