Marina Air Pumps
The Marina Air Pump is a quiet, reliable diaphragm pump that pushes a steady stream of air into your aquarium for rich, oxygenated water. It powers air stones, bubble walls, sponge filters, air-driven ornaments, and protein skimmers, keeping the surface moving and dissolved oxygen high for healthier fish. Safe for freshwater and saltwater, it comes in five sizes from the A50 for tanks up to 15 gallons to the A300 for tanks up to 70 gallons.
Put your pump to work with a Marina air stone, connect it with airline tubing, protect it with a check valve, and split one outlet to several devices with a Marina air control valve. Browse all air pumps and accessories at Squeaky's Aquatics.
Why the Marina Air Pump
Choose Your Size
| Model | Output | Powers tanks up to |
|---|---|---|
| Marina 50 | Single outlet | 15 US gal (60 L) |
| Marina 75 | Single outlet | 25 US gal (100 L) |
| Marina 100 | Single outlet | 40 US gal (150 L) |
| Marina 200 | Double outlet | 60 US gal (225 L) |
| Marina 300 | Single outlet | 70 US gal (265 L) |
Tank ratings are printed on each box. The 200 has two outlets, so you can run two separate air lines from one pump; the 300 is a single, higher-output pump for the largest tanks or a single strong air line. Deeper tanks need a stronger pump to push air down, so size up if your tank is tall.
Setup and Tips
- Set the pump on a shelf above the water line if you can. If it must sit below the water, always fit a check valve so water cannot siphon back into the pump if the power cuts out.
- Connect standard airline tubing from the pump outlet to your air stone, sponge filter, or ornament.
- To run several devices from one outlet, add an air control valve and tune each line with its own dial.
- The pump itself is long-lived. When bubbles weaken, first check for a clogged air stone or a kinked line before assuming the pump.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can this pump run?
Air stones and bubble walls, sponge filters, under-gravel filters, air-driven ornaments, and protein skimmers. Any accessory that needs an air supply.
What is the difference between single and double output?
Single-output pumps (50, 75, 100, 300) have one air outlet. The 200 has two outlets, so you can feed two separate air lines, for example an air stone at each end of the tank, without adding a splitter.
Do I need a check valve?
If the pump sits at or below the water line, yes. A check valve stops water from siphoning back into the pump during a power outage, which can ruin it. It is cheap insurance.
Marina 200 or Marina 300 for a big tank?
Choose the 200 if you want to run two independent air lines from one pump. Choose the 300 for the strongest single-line output and the largest tanks, up to 70 gallons.
Can I use it in saltwater?
Yes. It is rated for all aquarium types and is commonly used to drive protein skimmers and air stones in saltwater setups.
