Product description

N-Fit Nano Adapters let a N-Clear Nano Automatic Fleece Roller Filter drop into the rear chamber of an all-in-one aquarium it was not natively sized for. Each adapter is a single moulded frame that bridges the gap between your chamber opening and the filter body, with the part number moulded into the side. One adapter per filter. Browse the rest of our filter media and cartridges.

Check your model before ordering. Innovative Marine 10, 14, 15, 20 and 25 need no adapter at all. Everything else needs the specific part matched to its chamber opening, so pick from the fitting list below rather than by tank brand alone.

UNS 75SA note from Nature Dimensions: use S8080 for an approximately 80 x 80 mm chamber opening. An opening nearer 80 x 85 mm takes the S8080L instead, which we do not stock.

No gasket, and that is correct. Nature Dimensions has revised the N-Fit line, and current adapters no longer include a silicone gasket layer. Nothing is missing from your package, and installation is unaffected.

Tanks That Do Not Take a Nano

These are not current N-Clear Nano fits, with or without an adapter: Waterbox 50 Peninsula, Fluval AIO, BioCube, Red Sea Max Nano, Lifegard AIO, ReefCasa Pico and Tide, JBJ 10, Tideline 7, 11 and 13, and older UNS Dual AIO models whose chambers are not 3.2 in by 3.2 in.

Nature Dimensions also produces N-Fit adapters for several tanks we do not stock, including Aquatop, Aqua One, AquaManta, ReefCasa Studio and Cube, Fiji Cube, JBJ 15 and 20, Tideline 31, 47 and 62, Blue Marine, YiDing, Mantis Rubicon, IceCap 45 and 60 AIO, and UNS 90LA. FAQ

How do I know which adapter I need?
Match your exact tank model in the fitting list above, not just the brand. Chamber openings differ between sizes within the same product line. If you are unsure, measure the rear chamber opening and compare it against the three openings we stock.

Do I need an adapter for an Innovative Marine tank?
No. The N-Clear Nano is a direct fit on Innovative Marine 10, 14, 15, 20 and 25.

I am running a Main and an Extension unit. How many adapters?
Two, one per filter body.

Does the adapter come with the filter?
No. Adapters are sold separately from the N-Clear Nano filter.

My tank is modified. Will it still fit?
Possibly, but we cannot promise it. Fit depends on the chamber opening, the support ledge, and clearance around the filter and the used fleece roll. Send us the measurements and we will check against the list.
