Vitalis Catfish Pellets 1mm
Vitalis Catfish Pellets 1mm are made for the fish that live on the sand and get the leftovers in most tanks. A soft, small sinking pellet with whole fish meal, shrimp and mussel goes straight to the bottom where corys, synodontis and loaches root for it, and the soft texture suits barbels and mouths that a hard pellet can scrape. Feed it with Vitalis Tropical Pellets for the rest of the tank, and see all freshwater dry foods.
Features
- 1mm soft pellet that sinks quickly past the midwater fish
- 40% protein from whole fish meal, molluscs and crustaceans
- Soft texture is gentle on the sensitive barbels and mouths of bottom feeders
- Stable in water up to 24 hours, so slow foragers still find it intact
- 70g resealable pot, made in the UK by World Feeds
Who it is for
Corydoras and brochis, synodontis, botia and kuhli loaches, pimelodus and other small pictus type catfish, hoplo catfish, dianema, and any small bottom feeding fish.
Feeding Guide
Feed after the midwater fish have had their pinch, so the pellets reach the bottom. A pinch per six corys once or twice a day, or once in the evening for nocturnal loaches and synodontis. Remove uneaten pellets after a few hours if the tank has no snails or shrimp to finish them.

FAQ
Will my corys actually eat it? Yes. Corys prefer soft sinking food and this is exactly that. Give a new group a couple of days to find it.
Is 1mm big enough for a synodontis? Small synos take it fine. Large ones will do better with a bigger pellet or frozen food in rotation.
Can I use it for shrimp? They will eat it, but the Freshwater Shrimp Pellets are balanced for them.
