This Easter, we’re doing something new.
For the first time, we’re not just opening our doors for a normal day…
We’re opening them for something a little more special. Something we’ve been excited to start building.
This will be our first in-store community event, and as a small family business, that means a lot to us. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of what we’re growing here, whether you’ve stopped in once or visit us all the time.
We’re excited to kick things off and have you join us. This is just the start. We’re planning to grow these events over time, so keep an eye out for what’s coming next.
🌿 Sensory Hour (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM • Sunday Only)
We’ll be starting the day with a calm and gentle beginning.
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, April 5 only, we’ll be offering a sensory-friendly hour designed to create a more relaxed and comfortable environment.
During this time, the store will feature:
- A quieter, low-volume atmosphere
- A calmer, slower-paced experience
- Reduced announcements
We kindly ask that all visitors help us keep this space peaceful by speaking softly and being mindful of noise. This helps create a welcoming experience for those who are sensory-aware or who may not enjoy louder or crowded environments.
Think of it as a calm, easy start to the day before things open up a bit 🐣
🌼 A Visit We Didn’t Quite Plan…
Over the past few days, we’ve noticed a few things around the shop that we can’t quite explain.
Items slightly out of place.
A bit of rustling here and there.
And maybe… just maybe… something small and quick hopping out of sight.
Now we’re not saying it’s the Easter Bunny…
But we’re also not saying it’s not the Easter Bunny.
And if it is the Easter Bunny… we may need to have a conversation about leaving eggs all over the place 🐰
🥚 Easter Egg Hunt
This Easter Sunday, you might spot a few eggs hidden around the store between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Sunday only.
A simple, fun little hunt while you’re browsing, something to add a bit of surprise as you explore the shop.
- Tucked between displays
- Hidden near shelves
- Blending in just enough to make you look twice
Each egg has a small surprise inside, just a fun extra while you shop and explore.
To keep things fair and easy for everyone:
- One egg per person
- If you happen to find more than one, please leave it for the next person
- One egg redemption per checkout session
- Eggs must be redeemed on Sunday, April 5 only
- Full rules and details will be available in-store
No rushing, no egg-sprinting down aisles needed. Just keep an eye out while you browse… you might get lucky 🐰
🚂 More Than Just an Event
This is about building something we can share with all of you.
A place where people can come in, take their time, talk with us, and enjoy the hobby whether it’s trains, aquatics, or both.
We want each event to grow, improve, and become something you look forward to. Something that feels a little more special each time you stop in.
This is just the start, and we’re really excited for what comes next.
