NYOS and ATI Have Landed at Squeaky's Aquatics

Two German reef brands, nearly 70 products, all on our shelves now. Test kits and lab-grade ICP water tests, foods and plankton, dosing and single elements, pumps, media, salt, and the ultra-slim ATI Straton X reef light.

Big week on the reef side of the shop. Two well-known reef brands from Germany just landed at Squeaky's Aquatics, and we did not bring in samplers. We brought in the lines: 31 NYOS products and 37 from ATI, covering almost everything a saltwater tank needs.

NYOS covers the everyday side of a reef: REEFER test kits, liquid plankton, coral and organic fish foods, ION-B dosing, VIPER return pumps, Reef Cement and NYOS PURE salt. ATI brings the lab: mail-in ICP water tests that show exactly what is in your water, single ICP Elements to correct exactly what is off, the Essentials dosing line, Absolute Ocean, and the Straton X LED. You can go all in, or just grab the one thing your tank needs right now. Here is everything, by brand and by category.

Not sure where to start? For most reefers, it is the NYOS Alkalinity REEFER test kit at $13.99. In most reefs, alkalinity is the number that moves the fastest, and keeping it steady matters most. If you want to know everything in your water, an ATI ICP Standard test at $34.95 is the easiest way in. Have a picky eater? Grab a bottle of GOLDPODS. And bring us your test numbers or ICP results any time, and we will help you sort out what your tank actually needs.
Part 1

NYOS

The everyday reef line: testing, feeding, dosing and building.

REEFER Test Kits

Lab-style accuracy at a hobby price, made in Germany.

If you only pick up one thing from the NYOS line, make it a test kit. The REEFER kits are built for the chemistry of saltwater, use a calibrated dropper so every drop is the same size, and the reagents are made in Germany under strict batch control. The titration kits change color sharply, so there is less squinting and second-guessing.

Alkalinity REEFER Test Kit

Liquid Plankton

Real zooplankton, ready to pour. No thawing, no fridge.

These are whole zooplankton in a shelf-stable liquid, for marine fish and LPS corals. Shake, pump or pipette, and feed. They are handy for target feeding and for getting a new or picky fish eating, and there is nothing to thaw.

Dosing: ION-B, Trace Elements and Nutrients

Keep calcium, alkalinity and magnesium steady.

ION-B is a two-part system: equal amounts of CA/MG+ and ALK/PH+ replace what your corals use, made in the same roughly 1:7 ratio corals use them in. The ION ELEMENTS trace mixes go into the ION-B jugs, not straight into the tank. And for very clean tanks, NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ let you raise nutrients a little at a time when they bottom out.

ION-B CA/MG+

ION-B CA/MG+

from $19.99

Raises calcium and magnesium. Half of the ION-B pair.

ION-B ALK/PH+

ION-B ALK/PH+

from $19.99

Raises alkalinity and steadies pH. The other half of the pair.

ION ELEMENTS 1 CA/MG

ION ELEMENTS 1 CA/MG

from $19.99

Molybdenum, rubidium and strontium, mixed into the CA/MG+ jug.

ION ELEMENTS 2 CA/MG

from $19.99

Iodine, potassium, fluorine and selenium, mixed into the ALK/PH+ jug.

NITRATE+

NITRATE+

$19.99

High-purity nitrate for tanks that run too lean. 1 mL raises 26 gallons by 1 ppm.

PHOSPHATE+

PHOSPHATE+

$19.99

High-purity phosphate for the same job. Pair it with NITRATE+ and test twice a week.

NITRATE MINUS

NITRATE MINUS

from $11.99

Feeds the bacteria that break down nitrate. No methanol.

Part 2

ATI

The lab side of the reef: ICP testing, exact corrections, dosing, and the Straton X.

Straton X LED Reef Light

Ultra-slim, silent, and made entirely in Germany.

The Straton X is a 150 W full-spectrum reef LED in an aluminum housing just 9 mm tall, so it almost disappears over the tank. There are no fans, so it is completely silent. Each of its 100 LEDs has its own reflector to cut glare, and spreading that many light sources over a wide area lights corals from several sides, with fewer hotspots and shadows. You run it from the ATI Reef Pilot app, which shows live PAR and live power use. Pick a mounting arm for a rimless tank or a hanging kit for the ceiling.

Straton X LED Reef Light

Stainless steel Y-cable to hang one Straton X from the ceiling, adjustable for height and tilt.

ICP Lab Water Tests

Find out exactly what is in your water.

This is what ATI is best known for. You fill the sample tubes at home, mail them to the ATI lab in Germany (return shipping is included), and you get back a full report on what is really in your water: salinity, the major elements, dozens of trace elements, and pollutants you could never test for with a hobby kit. It is the best way to stop guessing, and it pairs perfectly with the single ICP Elements below.

ICP Lab Analysis Standard

ICP Lab Analysis Standard

from $34.95

The easy, affordable place to start. A full ICP-OES test of salinity, major and trace elements, and pollutants. 3 and 6 test packs available.

ICP Lab Analysis Pro

ICP Lab Analysis Pro

from $49.95

Everything in the Standard, plus nitrate, fluorine and alkalinity, and a test of your RO water too.

ICP Lab Analysis Ultimate MS

ICP Lab Analysis Ultimate MS

from $69.95

ATI's most complete test. Adds ICP-MS for trace elements and pollutants down to the ultra-trace range.

Multi Standard Reference Solution

Multi Standard Reference Solution

from $16.95

Seawater with certified values. Test it like tank water to check whether your test kits and refractometer read true.

Essentials Dosing

Built from tens of thousands of ICP tests.

ATI used the data from its own lab to build the Essentials line. The two-part systems keep alkalinity, calcium, magnesium and the other major elements steady, and there are separate versions for mixed reefs and for SPS-dominated tanks. Each two-part is sold as #1 and #2 bottles, and you dose both.

Essentials Mixed Reef 2-Part

Essentials Mixed Reef 2-Part

$29.95

For soft corals, LPS and mixed tanks, with a baseline of trace elements built in. $29.95 per bottle.

Essentials SPS 2-Part

Essentials SPS 2-Part

$26.95

For SPS-dominated tanks. A purely inorganic alkalinity source helps hold pH a little higher. $26.95 per bottle.

Essential Daily Traces #A and #B

Essential Daily Traces #A and #B

$31.95

Extra trace metals (#A) and halogens (#B) for heavily stocked or heavily filtered tanks. $31.95 each.

Essential Nitro

Essential Nitro

$31.95

Nitrogen for ultra-low nutrient tanks, from a mix of sources corals take up easily.

Essential Phospho

Essential Phospho

$31.95

Raises phosphate in small, predictable steps, so it never bottoms out in a very clean tank.

ICP Elements

Correct exactly what your ICP test says is off.

Single-element, high-purity solutions, developed and tested in the ATI lab. Instead of dosing a blend and hoping, you top up only the element your water is actually missing. This is the other half of ICP testing.

Saltwater, Carbon and GFO

Clean water in, clean water out.

Absolute Ocean

Absolute Ocean

$21.95

Seawater in a bottle. Pour the two parts into RO/DI water and it is ready the moment it stops swirling, no mixing time. The 2 x 2.7 L set makes 12 gallons. In-store pickup only.

Carbon Super Pure

Carbon Super Pure

$32.95

Acid-washed reef carbon that ATI rates at up to three times the binding capacity of standard carbons.

Phos Stop GFO

Phos Stop GFO

$22.95

Granular ferric oxide that pulls phosphate and silicate, the fuel behind a lot of nuisance algae.
