The Aquatop AquaFin is a desktop all-in-one with the equipment designed out of sight. A curved panoramic front gives a wraparound view with no corner seam breaking it up, and everything that normally clutters a small tank, pump, media and filter pad, lives in a slim chamber at one end. Both are the same height and depth. The 8 gallon is simply longer, so measure the shelf or desk before you choose. Everything else in the kit is identical between the two.

Features

  • Curved panoramic glass. A seamless peninsula-style profile, so you get a distraction-free view from the front and both ends with no silicone corner in the way.
  • Hidden 3-stage filtration. A rear chamber holds a bottom and middle box of biological media plus a top box with a replaceable mechanical pad. A submersible pump pulls water through all three continuously. No hang-on-back filter hanging off the glass.
  • 10W adjustable LED. A dual COB spotlight, 3000K warm plus 6500K white, on a bendable gooseneck arm that clamps to the rear glass so you can aim it where the plants are.
  • Genuinely all-in-one. Tank, filtration boxes, filter pad, bio media, pump, LED light and power components are all in the box. Nothing to source before you fill it.
  • Easy to service. The media boxes lift straight out by a handle on top, so a pad change is a ten second job with no dismantling.

What You Will Want to Add

A heater if you are keeping tropical fish, since the kit does not come with one, plus substrate, hardscape and a water conditioner. Ask at the counter and we will put the whole setup together with you rather than leaving you to guess.

Does it come with a heater?
No. Aquatop leave the heater out so you can match it to what you are keeping. We will size one for you.

Can I use it for a betta?
Yes, and it suits one well. The rear chamber keeps flow gentle at the front of the tank.

What do the replacement pads cost?
Aquatop sell a 3 pack that fits both sizes. Ask us and we will add them to your order.

Which size fits my space?
Both stand 9.84 in tall and 7.87 in deep. The only difference is length: 19.69 in against 31.50 in.
