Bulk Reef Supply Adjustable RO Float Valve
The Bulk Reef Supply Adjustable RO Float Valve shuts off the flow from your RO or RO/DI system the moment your storage container is full, so you can start a fill and walk away without water ending up on the floor or down the drain. It installs in anything from a 5 gallon bucket to a 200 gallon storage tank, and the adjustable arm lets you set exactly where the fill stops. Pair it with a TDS meter and one of our IceCap RO/DI systems for a fully hands-off water station.
How It Works
Water flows through the valve into the container until the polyethylene float rises with the water level and closes the valve. As you draw water down, the float drops and the valve reopens, keeping your reservoir topped up automatically. Adjust the arm angle to raise or lower the shut-off point.

Installation Notes
Mount through a 1/2 inch hole in a container wall up to 1/4 inch thick, near the top at your desired full level. Connect 1/4 inch RO tubing to the inlet. Note that a float valve stops product water only; to also stop the waste line when the container is full, your RO unit needs an auto shut-off valve, which most complete RO/DI systems include.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work in a 5 gallon bucket? Yes. Any container with a wall up to 1/4 inch thick and room for a 1/2 inch hole works.
Does it stop the waste water too? Not by itself. The float stops product water; an auto shut-off valve on the RO unit stops the waste line when pressure builds.
Can I adjust where it shuts off? Yes. Bend or angle the float arm to raise or lower the shut-off level.
