How to Feed
Start with what your fish clear in about two minutes and adjust from there; overfeeding is the most common mistake with any pellet. Young mandarins and other growing fish do best on three or four small feedings a day. For shy or slow eaters, pause the pumps for a few minutes so faster fish do not take everything. For gobies, blennies and other bottom feeders, moisten a pinch first so it sinks. The 0.6 mm size is meant for hand feeding; if you run an automatic feeder, the larger DKI sizes flow more reliably. Keep the jar sealed in a cool, dry place, since the natural ingredients absorb moisture.

FAQ
Will a wild-caught mandarin eat it?
Some learn, many do not. Captive-bred Biota mandarins arrive already eating DKI 0.6 mm, which is the whole point of buying captive-bred. For a wild fish, keep live pods going and offer DKI in the same spot every day.
Does it float or sink?
The granules are neutrally buoyant and drift slowly through the water column. Moisten them first if you want them on the bottom.
What fish is 0.6 mm for?
Fry, nano fish and anything with a small mouth: mandarins, dragonets, small gobies and blennies, juvenile clowns and small anthias. Larger fish get the 0.8, 1.2 or 2 mm sizes.
Why does low phosphate matter?
Foods built on fish meal carry bone phosphate that ends up feeding algae. Whole shrimp does not, so more of what you feed becomes fish rather than nutrients in the water.
How long does a jar last?
Sealed and dry, well past a year. A 70 g jar is a lot of 0.6 mm pellets; a nano tank feeds from it for months.
