HYDROS Dual Inline TDS Sensor
Monitor Your RO/DI Water Quality in Real Time
The HYDROS Dual Inline TDS Sensor uses two corrosion-resistant titanium sensors to monitor the water quality of any RO/DI system, providing years of trouble-free readouts. The compact display mounts right at your filtration so you can check your total dissolved solids (TDS) at a glance and know exactly when it is time to change your membrane or DI resin. Pair it with a HYDROS controller to log readings and get alerts through the HYDROS automation system.
Key Features
- Two high-quality titanium sensors that resist corrosion for reliable, long-lasting readings.
- Dual inline design lets you monitor water quality before and after your RO/DI system to measure filter performance.
- Compact magnet-mount display for an at-a-glance TDS reading right at your filtration.
- Simple installation with included 1/4 inch push-connect fittings.
- Plugs into any HYDROS Sense Port and needs no separate power supply.

Why Monitor TDS?
Total dissolved solids (TDS) tell you how pure your source water is. Reef keepers and planted-tank aquarists rely on clean RO/DI water to avoid nuisance algae and unwanted elements. By reading TDS on both sides of your system, you can see when your RO membrane or DI resin is wearing out and replace it before impure water reaches your tank.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a HYDROS controller to use this?
Yes. The sensor draws its power from a HYDROS Control Sense Port, so you need a HYDROS Control such as the HYDROS Start. It does not run on its own.
Can I use it on both fresh and salt water systems?
Yes. TDS monitoring applies to any RO/DI system, whether you are making water for a reef tank or a planted freshwater tank.
What do the two sensors measure?
The dual inline design lets you read TDS before and after your RO/DI unit, so you can see how well your membrane and resin are removing dissolved solids.
How do I install it?
The sensor uses standard 1/4 inch push-connect fittings (included) that tie into your RO/DI tubing, then plugs into an open Sense Port on your HYDROS Control.
