Do I need an internet connection?
No. The HYDROS Start runs on your local WiFi without internet. A connection is only needed if you want remote access through the HYDROS Cloud.

Can I use it on a freshwater tank?
Yes. The Start works on saltwater tanks, freshwater tanks, and ponds. It monitors temperature and controls power for any setup.

How many devices can it control?
Four 120V devices through its AC outlets, plus two small 12V devices through its Drive Ports. Add a HYDROS WiFi Power Strip or Control XP8 for more outlets.

Does it include sensors?
It includes a temperature sensor. Additional sensors for water level, leak detection, TDS, salinity, and more plug into the four Sense Ports and are sold separately.
