JurassiPet JurassiCal Dry
JurassiCal Dry is JurassiPet's concentrated calcium supplement for reptiles and amphibians, a fine, phosphorus-free calcium powder made by the same company behind Seachem. Dust it on feeder insects or sprinkle it over greens to support strong bones, healthy shells, and proper growth in lizards, geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, turtles, and tortoises. Available in 75 g, 150 g, and 250 g jars.
Features
- Phosphorus-free calcium: delivers concentrated elemental calcium without skewing the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio that matters for reptile bone health.
- Fights metabolic bone disease: regular calcium supplementation is the single best defense for insect-eating and vegetable-eating reptiles.
- Fine dusting texture: clings to crickets, roaches, and worms instead of falling off in the enclosure.
- Three sizes: 75 g for a single pet, 150 g and 250 g for multi-reptile households.
- From the Seachem family: JurassiPet is made by Seachem Laboratories, the same chemists behind our aquarium lines.
How to Use
Place feeder insects in a cup or bag with a pinch of JurassiCal Dry and shake gently to coat, then feed immediately. For herbivores, sprinkle lightly over greens or vegetables. Dust feedings two to three times per week for most adult reptiles, more often for growing juveniles and egg-laying females. Pair with a proper UVB light so your reptile can actually use the calcium it eats.

FAQ
Does this contain vitamin D3?
No, JurassiCal Dry is straight phosphorus-free calcium. That makes it safe to dust frequently. If your reptile gets limited UVB, alternate with a D3-containing supplement as your vet or breeder recommends.
How often should I dust?
Two to three feedings per week for most adults, and most or all feedings for fast-growing juveniles and gravid females. Adjust for species and UVB setup.
Which animals is it for?
Any reptile or amphibian that needs dietary calcium: bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, anoles, skinks, turtles, tortoises, and frogs.
What is the difference between this and liquid calcium?
Dry powder is for dusting food and insects; liquid forms get dosed into water or onto food. Dusting is the easiest routine for insect feeders.
