What's in the Box
An assortment of Ocean Nutrition Frozen Formula Foods. The box lists Formula One, Formula Two, Spirulina Formula, Prime Reef and Brine Shrimp Plus. Ocean Nutrition's current product page also lists Angel Formula and Special Formula VHP (Very High Protein) in the mix.
Why the Variety Pack
- Built-in variety. Rotating formulas gives your fish a more balanced diet than any single food.
- No prep. Each cube is sealed in a perforated tray. Pop one out and drop it in, still frozen.
- Made for many tanks. Around 216 cubes in one resealable box keeps several aquariums fed for a long time at a lower cost per cube.
How to Feed
Feed two to three times a day, only as much as your fish eat in about five minutes. Drop the cube into the tank frozen. Ocean Nutrition says not to thaw it first. Remove any food that is not eaten. Keep the box in a freezer at 0°F (minus 18°C) or colder.
Ingredients
Ocean Nutrition lists sponge, casein, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, mussels, fish eggs, squid, salmon eggs and spirulina, plus added vitamins and minerals including vitamins E, C and K3 and B vitamins.

FAQ
Is this too much for one tank?
For a single small tank, yes, most people are better off with one or two individual formula packs. The Variety Pack makes sense when you are feeding several tanks.
Can I thaw the cubes first?
Ocean Nutrition says to drop them in frozen. Fish pick at the cube as it thaws in the tank.
Will it work for freshwater fish?
Yes. The formulas cover nearly all marine and freshwater fish.
