Seachem Flourish Glue
Seachem Flourish Glue is a fast-setting cyanoacrylate gel formulated for aquascaping. Attach mosses, anubias, bucephalandra, java fern, and other rhizome and epiphytic plants directly to driftwood, rock, and decor without trapping them under thread or holding them in place by hand. Safe for freshwater planted tanks and reef tanks. Pairs well with our live aquarium plants and full Seachem collection.
Features
- Bonds in seconds. Cyanoacrylate gel grips instantly on dry surfaces and continues curing once submerged.
- Underwater safe. Sets even when in contact with tank water. White when wet, dries clear.
- Reef-safe and plant-safe. Inert once cured. Will not leach into freshwater or saltwater systems.
- No thread, no waiting. Replaces sewing thread or rubber bands for mounting epiphytic plants and corals on plugs.
- Gel consistency. Thicker than liquid super glue. Stays where you put it instead of running off the rock.
- Two-tube package. Comes with a pair of fresh tubes so you can open one without committing the second to a partial-use clock.
How To Use
1. Pat the rock, driftwood, or coral plug dry with a clean cloth.
2. Apply a small bead of glue to the mounting surface.
3. Press the plant base, moss, or coral frag firmly onto the bead for 5 to 10 seconds.
4. Lower into the tank. The bond will continue to cure underwater.
For mosses, sprinkle the moss across a thin layer of glue spread on the rock or wood. The glue locks the moss in place while the tissue establishes new attachment points.

FAQ
Is this glue safe for fish, shrimp, and corals?
Yes. Cyanoacrylate is inert once cured. The glue is widely used in planted tanks, shrimp tanks, and reef tanks. Apply outside the tank when possible, but contact with tank water during curing is fine.
Why does my glue turn white when it hits the water?
That is normal. Cyanoacrylate reacts with moisture and turns chalky white as it bonds. The white tint fades over a few days as the cure completes and the surrounding water flushes residual reactant away.
Can I use this on driftwood and rock with a wet surface?
Best results come from a dry mounting surface. The plant base or coral plug can stay damp, but blot the rock or wood dry first so the gel adheres to the surface and not the water film on top of it.
How is this different from regular super glue?
The active ingredient (cyanoacrylate) is the same. Flourish Glue is a thicker gel formulation tuned for the aquascaping use case: no thin runs off rocks, predictable bead, no plasticizers or scents.
