Seachem Flourish Nitrogen
Seachem Flourish Nitrogen is a concentrated nitrogen source for the planted aquarium. Nitrogen is one of the three key macro nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, or NPK) and is often the limiting factor to growth in a thriving tank. Flourish Nitrogen supplies nitrogen in both the nitrate form and the plant-preferred ammonium form, with the ammonium safely complexed so no free ammonia is released. Why Seachem Flourish Nitrogen
How to Use
Shake well before use. Add 5 mL (one capful) to every 250 liters (about 60 US gallons) twice a week, or dose as needed in response to signs of nitrogen deficiency. Heavily planted or fast-growing tanks may need more. For best results, use as part of a complete fertilizer routine and monitor your nitrate level.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know my plants need nitrogen?
Nitrogen deficiency often shows as yellowing of older leaves and overall slow, stunted growth, since plants move nitrogen to new growth first.
Will it cause an ammonia spike?
No. The ammonium in Flourish Nitrogen is complexed and unavailable until plants use it, so no free ammonia is released into the water.
How does it differ from Phosphorus and Potassium?
Each targets one macro nutrient. Use Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium together to dose the full NPK your plants need.
Is it safe for fish and shrimp?
Yes, when dosed as directed it is safe for fish and invertebrates in the planted freshwater aquarium.
