Seachem Reef Complete
Seachem Reef Complete is a concentrated calcium source for the reef aquarium, delivering calcium alongside magnesium and strontium in the balanced ratio corals use to build their skeletons. Maintaining a stable calcium level is the foundation of strong coral growth, vibrant coralline algae, and a healthy reef. Available from a 100 mL nano bottle up to a 2 L value size.
Why Reef Complete
- Concentrated calcium supplement (100,000 mg/L) for fast, efficient dosing
- Supplies calcium, magnesium, and strontium in a coral-skeleton ratio
- Maintains calcium in the ideal 380 to 450 mg/L range for SPS, LPS, and clams
- Will not spike pH when used as directed
- Part of the Seachem reef dosing system with Reef Builder and Reef Advantage Magnesium
How to Dose
Add 5 mL (1 capful) per 80 L (about 20 US gallons) once or twice a week, or as needed to keep calcium between 380 and 450 mg/L. Each dose at that rate raises calcium by roughly 10 mg/L. Do not raise calcium by more than 50 mg/L per day. Test regularly and dose to your tank's uptake; heavily stocked SPS systems use more.

FAQ
Does Reef Complete replace a calcium reactor?
For nano to mid-size reefs, regular dosing is plenty. Very large SPS systems may eventually prefer a reactor or two-part, but Reef Complete keeps calcium stable for most tanks.
Calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium all dropping?
That is normal coral uptake. Dose all three together (Reef Complete, Reef Builder, Reef Advantage Magnesium) and test weekly to keep them in balance.
Can I use it in a fish-only saltwater tank?
It is intended for reef tanks with calcifying corals and coralline algae. A fish-only tank without corals does not need supplemental calcium.
