Tideline Sump
A quiet, fully featured reef sump in five sizes. The TideLine Sump is built around silent siphon overflows, with multiple drain inputs, 7 in diameter 200 micron filter socks under a splash lid, an adjustable-height protein skimmer section and dual media platforms ahead of the return. Solid white and black panels block light to keep unwanted algae out of the other sections. Sizes run from a compact 20 in to a 72 in sump for big systems. Finish the build with an overflow and a return pump.
Features
- Multiple drain inputs: three 1 in drains on the 20, 30 and 36 in models, two 1.5 in plus one 1 in on the 48 in, and four 1.5 in on the 72 in, to suit silent siphon overflow systems that cut noise and bubbles. The fittings are female slip, so PVC pipe slides right in.
- 7 in, 200 micron filter socks: a large surface area means they last longer before they clog and need cleaning or changing.
- Lid over the sock section stops splashing and reduces noise, and lifts off for easy sock access.
- Adjustable skimmer water level: 7 to 9.5 in in the protein skimmer section.
- Dual platforms before the return section: the top one carries a self-adjusting foam block filter, the bottom one is open for a bag of carbon, bio balls, rubble rock and similar media.
- Probe holder for up to three probes (two 0.63 in holes and one 0.8 in center hole).
- Hose holder: four holes in the top brace hold 1/4 in OD tubing from reactors, dosing pumps, ATO and more.
- Light-blocking white and black panels help prevent unwanted algae growth outside the refugium.

FAQ
Which size has a refugium?
The 30, 36, 48 and 72 in models have a center/refugium section between the skimmer and return. The compact 20 in model lists only a skimmer section and a return section.
How many filter socks come with it?
One on the 20 and 30 in, two on the 36 and 48 in, and four on the 72 in. All are 7 in diameter, 200 micron.
Will my overflow plumbing fit?
The drain fittings are female slip fittings that take PVC pipe. The 20 to 36 in models take three 1 in drains, the 48 in takes two 1.5 in and one 1 in, and the 72 in takes four 1.5 in.
