Glass tank? Take the stainless M. Acrylic tank? Take the P, and do not put a steel blade anywhere near acrylic. The 10 pack is the one to grab if you clean on a schedule or service more than one tank.
Features
- 316 stainless on the M blade. Continuum specifies 316 stainless steel, which is strong and rust resistant, so a blade left damp does not bloom orange on you.
- The P blade is softer than the acrylic it cleans. Continuum uses a custom plastic mix that is softer than acrylic but still strong enough to take off built-up deposits and coralline.
- Backwards compatible. Continuum states its scraper fits the old blades and its blades fit the old scraper, so an older AquaBlade handle is not a problem.
- Snap-in change. The blade sits in a molded carrier that drops into the scraper head, so swapping one is quick and you never handle a bare edge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the stainless blade on an acrylic tank?
No. Steel will scratch acrylic. The P blade exists for exactly that reason: it is plastic, softer than acrylic, and still removes coralline.
Will these fit my older AquaBlade?
Yes. Continuum states the blades are fully backwards compatible, so its current blades fit the older scraper and the current scraper takes older blades.
Do they fit other brands of scraper?
No. Continuum says the AquaBlade replacement blades are designed only for current and previous AquaBlade units.
3 pack or 10 pack?
The 3 pack suits one tank cleaned occasionally. The 10 pack is the maintenance pack, and it is what you want if you scrape often, keep several tanks, or run a service route.
How do I make a blade last?
Rinse it in fresh water and dry it after use. Salt left on any blade, stainless included, shortens its life, and a dull blade is what makes people push too hard on the glass.
