Aquarium Co-Op Easy Shrimp and Snail Shells 4-Pack | Calcium Food for Shrimp & Snails
Sold in-store only. Visit us at 1885 Braselton Hwy, Suite D, Lawrenceville, GA.
Aquarium Co-Op Easy Shrimp and Snail Shells are little snail-shaped blocks of calcium and minerals with spirulina mixed in. Shrimp and snails graze on them, and anything not eaten slowly dissolves, adding calcium and raising hardness. That matters here: our local tap water is very soft, and shrimp and snails need minerals to build shells and molt cleanly. Browse more fish food and nutrition.
Features
- Supports shells and molting. Calcium and magnesium for strong shells and smooth molts.
- Works two ways. Eaten directly, or left to dissolve and release minerals into the water.
- Spirulina added. Draws shrimp and snails in to graze.
- Helps more than inverts. Added hardness also suits livebearers and many plants.
How to Feed
Add 1 shell per month or after each water change, whichever comes first. Keep an eye on hardness (GH) and use more or less to suit your tank. If you do not see your shrimp eating it, it is still working as it dissolves.
Ingredients
Calcium sulfate, plankton, spirulina algae meal, magnesium sulfate, dicalcium sulfate, niacin, vitamin C, thiamine, D-calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, beta carotene.

FAQ
Will it make my water too hard?
One shell a month is a gentle dose. Test your GH and adjust; if hardness climbs too high, use fewer.
Is it safe with fish?
Yes. It is a mineral and food block, safe in community tanks with shrimp and snails.
