The Aquatop PowerFlow Internal Sponge Filter puts a quiet, energy-efficient water pump right in the sponge filter, so there is no separate air pump or airline tubing to buy, hide or listen to. It gives you two stages of filtration in one compact unit: a high-density sponge that traps suspended debris and gives beneficial nitrifying bacteria a place to colonize, plus a chamber of biological filter media beneath the sponge that further supports the nitrogen cycle.
It mounts inside the tank with the included suction cups, and the gentle flow suits shrimp, fry, bettas and other delicate livestock. Choose the PSF-1 for nano and small aquariums or the PSF-2 for medium aquariums.
