ATI Essential Phospho - 500 mL

ATI Essential Phospho is part of the ATI Essentials system for preventing phosphate deficiency in reef tanks. Phosphorus is a building block of coral biomass, and in systems with oversized skimmers, carbon dosing or refugiums it can bottom out, which ATI links to rapid tissue loss (RTN/STN). Essential Phospho raises phosphate in small, predictable steps.

Why phosphorus matters

• Biomass: Corals need phosphorus for DNA, cell membranes and energy transfer (ATP).
• Target range: Helps hold phosphate in the reef range of 0.03 to 0.1 mg/L (ppm).

Dosing

• 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises phosphate by 0.015 mg/L (ppm)
• Aim for a stable 0.03 to 0.1 mg/L (ppm)
• In a severely phosphorus-limited tank the dose may be used up almost immediately; ATI recommends dosing several times a day until levels stabilize
• The bottle contains 750 mg of phosphate in total
