ATI Essentials Mixed Reef 2-Part
ATI Essentials Mixed Reef is a highly concentrated, ready-to-dose two-part system for mixed reef aquariums with soft corals, LPS and a mix of species, including tanks with medium to high fish stocking. ATI developed it from tens of thousands of ICP lab analyses to supply every major element plus a baseline of essential trace elements, without unwanted buildup. Sold as separate #1 and #2 bottles; dose both.

Dosing
- Dose equal amounts of #1 and #2
- Guideline: 3 to 7 mL of each per 100 L (26 gal) per day
- Set the dose from your tank's measured daily alkalinity and calcium consumption
- #2 Calcium Complex: 1 mL per 100 L raises calcium by about 1 mg/L (so 2.5 mL per 100 L covers 2.5 mg/L of daily use)
- Track consumption with ATI test kits or an ATI ICP lab analysis

Usage notes
- Crystals can form in #1 KH Complex below 20 °C (68 °F). Warm the bottle to about 45 °C (115 °F) to redissolve them
- In a consistently cold room you can dilute both parts 1:1 with RO water; double the dosing volume to deliver the same amount

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need both bottles? Yes. The system is designed so you dose equal amounts of #1 and #2.
Do I have to mix anything? No. Both parts are ready to connect to a dosing pump.
What's the difference from Essentials SPS? Mixed Reef uses an organic plus inorganic alkalinity source with a nutrient-reducing effect; SPS uses inorganic alkalinity only for stronger pH support.
