ATI Essentials SPS 2-Part
ATI Essentials SPS is a highly concentrated, laboratory-grade two-part system built for SPS-dominated reef tanks. ATI refined it from tens of thousands of ICP-OES analyses for skeletal growth, metabolism and strong SPS color, and it uses a purely inorganic alkalinity source to hold pH higher, which Acropora and other stony corals favor. Sold as separate #1 and #2 bottles; dose both.

Dosing
- Dose equal or very similar amounts of both parts spread through the day
- Guideline: 5 to 10 mL per 100 L (26 gal) per day
- Base the dose on your tank's measured daily alkalinity and calcium consumption
- #1 KH: 5 mL per 100 L covers 0.5 °dKH of daily use, 10 mL covers 1.0 °dKH
- #2 Calcium: 3.5 mL per 100 L covers 2.5 mg/L of daily use, 7 mL covers 5.0 mg/L

Usage notes
- Store above 20 °C (68 °F). If crystals form in #1 KH Complex, warm it to 45 °C (115 °F) to redissolve them
- In cold rooms both parts can be diluted 1:1 with RO water; double the dosing volume if you do

Do I need both bottles? Yes. Dose equal or very similar amounts of #1 and #2 through the day.
Why SPS instead of Mixed Reef? Essentials SPS uses inorganic alkalinity only, which ATI rates strong to very strong for pH stabilization, for SPS-dominated tanks with a clean nutrient baseline.
What if it crystallizes? Warm the #1 bottle to about 45 °C (115 °F) until the crystals dissolve.
