ATI ICP Element Chromium - 150 mL
ATI ICP Element Chromium is a high-purity, single-element chromium solution for precisely adjusting chromium levels in reef aquariums. It is part of ATI's revised ICP Elements line, developed and tested in the ATI Lab in Germany, and ATI designs it both for correcting an acute deficiency and for maintaining the daily supply. Why chromium matters
- Enzyme activity: Chromium is associated with the activity of certain enzymes in invertebrates. ATI notes its effects are subtle and still theorized.
- Microbial support: It may influence micronutrient availability for the bacteria living in biofilms.
Common causes of a deficiency (per ATI): low concentrations in standard salt mixes, no targeted trace-element dosing, or export by protein skimming when it is bound to microbial biomass.

- Standard dose: 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises chromium by 1 µg/L
- Safe daily limit: raise chromium by no more than 0.5 µg/L per day (0.5 mL per 100 L)
- Dose to a current ICP analysis and correct only a measured deficiency, then retest
