ATI ICP Element Iron - 150 mL
ATI ICP Element Iron is a high-purity, single-element iron solution for precisely adjusting iron levels in reef aquariums. It is part of ATI's revised ICP Elements line, developed and tested in the ATI Lab in Germany, and ATI designs it both for correcting an acute deficiency and for maintaining the daily supply. Why iron matters
- Photosynthesis and color: Iron is critical for photosynthesis; a deficiency reduces color depth and slows growth in corals and macroalgae.
- Refugium health: Macroalgae such as Chaetomorpha need iron, and a deficiency can stop refugium growth completely.
- Metabolism: Iron is a core part of many enzymes and cellular processes.
Common causes of a deficiency (per ATI): high demand under intense LED lighting, heavy SPS stocking or a thriving refugium. Iron also precipitates quickly in saltwater, so even low-demand systems often need it.

- Contents: one bottle holds 60,000 µg of iron
- Standard dose: 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises iron by 4 µg/L
- Safe daily limit: raise iron by no more than 4 µg/L per day (1 mL per 100 L)
- Dose to a current ICP analysis and correct only a measured deficiency, then retest
