ATI ICP Element Strontium - 1000 mL
ATI ICP Element Strontium is a high-purity, single-element strontium solution for precisely adjusting strontium levels in reef aquariums. It is part of ATI's revised ICP Elements line, developed and tested in the ATI Lab in Germany, and ATI designs it both for correcting an acute deficiency and for maintaining the daily supply. Why strontium matters
- Skeletal development: Strontium is chemically similar to calcium and is built into stony coral aragonite, helping form dense, strong skeletons.
- Coral resilience: Adequate strontium keeps skeletons from turning brittle and easily damaged.
- Coralline and invertebrates: Important for coralline algae and for shell growth in clams and snails.
Common causes of a deficiency (per ATI): fast uptake by growing SPS, LPS and coralline algae, and two-part systems or budget salts that don't supply enough.

- Standard dose: 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises strontium by 0.2 mg/L
- Safe daily limit: raise strontium by no more than 2 mg/L per day (10 mL per 100 L)
