Care Guide
Provide a mature, filtered aquarium with fine sand or smooth gravel and open areas to explore. Keep the water warm, stable and alkaline. Avoid soft, acidic conditions that can erode the shell, and acclimate carefully to your aquarium's water.
Offer small portions of sinking snail food, algae wafers and occasional blanched vegetables. Natural grazing alone may not provide enough food. Remove uneaten portions, maintain good water quality and avoid copper medications.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many snails will I receive?
One snail per quantity ordered. This is a representative variety listing, so the individual animal will vary.
Will rabbit snails reproduce in freshwater?
They can. Rabbit snails produce live young slowly, typically one at a time, rather than laying large clusters of eggs. Breeding is not guaranteed.
Is Chocolate Poso an exact species name?
It is a trade name. We list this variety as Tylomelania sp. because suppliers use different species names for chocolate rabbit snails.
Can it live on leftover fish food?
Give it its own small, regular meals and make sure faster tankmates do not take everything first.
