Why JurassiSafe
Chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia are toxic to amphibians and hard on aquatic reptiles. Most reptile water conditioners stop at chlorine. JurassiSafe also detoxifies ammonia, which matters in turtle tanks where waste builds quickly between water changes. Do I really need a conditioner for a turtle tank?
If you are on city water, yes. Chlorine and chloramine irritate skin and eyes and kill the beneficial bacteria your filter depends on. Conditioning new water is cheap insurance.
Is it safe for frogs, newts, and salamanders?
Yes. It is formulated with amphibians in mind and supports their slime coat rather than stripping it.
How is this different from an aquarium conditioner?
Same chemistry family, dosed and formulated for reptile and amphibian setups, and it detoxifies ammonia where many reptile conditioners only remove chlorine.
How much do I use?
