Juwel Rio 240 LED Aquarium
The Juwel Rio 240 LED gives you a full four-foot view: 63 gallons (240 liters) on a 121 x 41 cm footprint, 55 cm tall, made in Germany and delivered complete with two 23 W MultiLux LED tubes in the lid, a Bioflow M internal filter with its Eccoflow 600 pump, a 200 W AquaHeat Pro heater and a safety base frame that sits on any flat, level surface. It is the size where a community tank turns into a showpiece, and a comfortable start for marine fish. What Is Built In
The lid carries the MultiLux LED unit with two replaceable 1047 mm LED tubes, one DAY and one NATURE, 2 x 23 W, for a bright, natural spectrum that grows easy and medium plants along the full length. The Bioflow M filter sits in the rear corner inside the tank, a quiet internal system with five filter media and the Eccoflow 600 pump moving about 158 gph (600 L/h) at 7 W. The 200 W AquaHeat Pro heater sits inside the filter's water path, out of sight and protected from livestock, with silver contacts, a borosilicate glass body and TÜV and GS certification. The safety base frame spreads the load evenly, so no foam mat or special support is needed.

Which Configuration Is Right for You?
Aquarium Only if you already have a level stand rated for about 330 kg (730 lb) filled.
Cabinet Only to put an existing Rio 240 on the stand it was designed for, or to replace a damaged one.
Aquarium + Cabinet Set for a new setup. The colors match, the cabinet lines up with the base frame exactly and the load rating is not in question.
Setting It Up
Assemble the cabinet on a level floor, set the tank on it and check level front to back and side to side before adding anything. Rinse your substrate, add hardscape, then fill with treated water and start the filter and heater together. Seed the filter with bottled bacteria, add livestock slowly over the first weeks, and keep the lid closed so the LED and the filter stay dry.

FAQ
How long does a special order take?
Usually under 7 days. Order online and we will call you when it is at the store, ready to pick up.
Why is a color marked sold out?
That finish is temporarily unavailable from the distributor. The other colors can still be ordered, and the sold-out ones come back as soon as stock returns.
Freshwater or saltwater?
Either. The included light, filter and heater cover a community or planted tank, a fish-only marine tank or a soft coral reef. Demanding stony corals would want stronger light.
Do I need the Juwel cabinet?
No. The safety base frame lets the tank sit on any flat, level surface rated for the filled weight. The SBX cabinet is the tidy option because it matches the trim and hides the hardware.
Can I change the light color?
Yes. The DAY and NATURE tubes are standard Juwel 1047 mm LED tubes and can be swapped for other colors in the Juwel range.
Why pickup only?
A four-foot glass aquarium and its cabinet do not survive parcel shipping, so we bring it in for you and hold it at the store.
