MinnFinn Pond Treatment Kit 1 Liter

MinnFinn Pond is the 1 liter, pond-sized version of MinnFinn, a simple two-part treatment for common external diseases of pond fish. One kit treats up to 2,240 US gallons (8,480 liters). What It Treats

Per the MinnFinn label, typical number of treatments:

• Protozoan parasites such as Trichodina and Chilodonella: 1 treatment
• Costia: 2 to 3 treatments
• Flukes: 1 to 3 treatments, depending on the fluke species
• Ich: 3 to 5 treatments. Each case of Ich is different, so judge how many doses are needed as you go.
• External bacterial infections such as Bacterial Gill Disease, Columnaris, Mouth Rot and Fin Rot: 1 to 3 treatments
• Fungus: 1 to 3 treatments

How to Use

Always read and follow the full label before treating. In short:

• Wear gloves and eye protection. Get an accurate pond volume first so you do not overdose or underdose.
• Increase aeration for the whole treatment.
• For Flukes and Costia, leave the filter online for the first treatment. For other diseases, put the filter on bypass to protect nitrification.
• Mix the measured MinnFinn into a 5 gallon bucket filled 3/4 with pond or tap water, no more than 250 mL of MinnFinn per bucket. Prepare the NeuFinn at the same time.
• Spread half the mixture around the whole pond edge or into the air diffuser upwelling, then the other half 5 minutes later.
• One hour later, add the NeuFinn around the pond edge or diffuser upwelling.
• Some lethargy, faster breathing and mild agitation are normal. If fish roll over or look like they are falling asleep, add NeuFinn right away.
• Do not combine with any other treatment except salt. Wait 48 hours between treatments.

Safety

• Not for use in food fish.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Avoid skin contact. If exposed, rinse well with water and apply NeuFinn. For eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention.
• The bottle has a vented cap. Keep it upright and away from combustible materials, metals and dust.
