NYOS ION-B ALK/PH+ Liquid

NYOS ION-B ALK/PH+ is a concentrated, ready-to-use liquid that raises alkalinity and stabilizes pH. It is one half of the NYOS ION-B two-part method; pair it with equal amounts of ION-B CA/MG+. It also contains sulfate, bromine and fluorine for ion balancing.

About the ION-B method

• A two-part dosing system: equal amounts of ION-B CA/MG+ and ION-B ALK/PH+ replace used calcium, magnesium and alkalinity
• Corals use alkalinity and calcium in a ratio of about 1:7, and the two ION-B solutions are made in the same 1:7 ratio, so you usually dose equal amounts of both
• Designed to prevent ion shift and stabilize pH between 8.0 and 8.3
• Trace elements are added to the solutions with NYOS ION ELEMENTS 1, 2 and 3, adjusted to your tank's needs

Contents and dosing

• 1,000 mL contains approx. 10,000 dKH
• 2000 mL canister: 20,000 dKH; 5000 mL canister: 50,000 dKH
• Dose to replace your tank's daily alkalinity consumption
• Guideline: 5 to 10 mL per 100 L (26 gal) of tank water per day, alongside an equal amount of ION-B CA/MG+
• Add trace elements to this solution with ION ELEMENTS 3

Safety

Warning: causes serious eye irritation (H319). Keep out of reach of children, wear eye protection, and wash hands after handling. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and remove contact lenses if easy to do.
