Peaceful, tireless, and perfect for nano and community tanks alike, Endlers are the little fish that make the whole tank look busy and alive. Care Guide
- Tank size: 5 gallons and up. A trio brings a nano tank to life; a dozen turns a 20 gallon into a lava lamp.
- Water parameters: 72 to 82°F, pH 7.0 to 8.0. Like guppies they prefer harder, more alkaline water and appreciate stability over perfection.
- Feeding: omnivore with a tiny mouth. Micro pellets like Xtreme Nano, crushed flake, and Hikari Fancy Guppy granules keep the metallic colors glowing.
- Plants welcome: Endlers love picking at biofilm in dense plants. Guppy Grass doubles as playground and fry nursery.
- Lid recommended: tiny fish, surprising jumpers.

FAQ
Are Endlers just small guppies?
Close cousins, not the same fish. Poecilia wingei is its own species from coastal Venezuela, smaller and often more intensely metallic than fancy guppies. The two can hybridize, so keep them separate if you care about pure lines.
What does "premium assorted" mean?
A mix of high-color strains rather than one fixed line. Every fish carries its own pattern, and since it is in-store pickup, you can point at your favorites when you arrive.
Will they breed?
If males and females share a tank, absolutely, a new batch of fry roughly monthly. Dense plants like Guppy Grass let some fry survive in a community; a species tank grows a colony fast.
How many should I get?
They are social, so start with at least 3, and a small group of 6 or more shows the best color and activity. In male-only groups nobody breeds and everybody sparkles.
