The Pro Clear Premier Series Wet/Dry filters add strong biological and mechanical filtration under freshwater or saltwater aquariums. Paired with a properly sized return pump, a wet/dry cuts maintenance time compared with traditional filters, including canister filters. Each unit comes with bio-balls, a polishing block, siphon hose, return valve and all tubing.

Overflow sold separately. Models 75 and 125 use the Pro Clear single output overflow (item 675128); models 175, 200, 300 and 400 use the dual output overflow (item 675135). The return pump is user supplied.

How It Works

Water from the overflow lands on a splash baffle that spreads it evenly over the drip tray, then trickles through the bio-ball chamber, where beneficial bacteria get plenty of oxygen. The drip tray is a slide-out drawer, so you can clean it without removing a skimmer from the sump area or shutting the system down.

Is a pump included?
No. Pro Clear's instructions call for a user-supplied return pump.

Do I need an overflow?
Yes, unless your aquarium is already drilled. The overflow is sold separately.
