Will this fit the ReefMat 1200?
No — the ReefMat 500 roll is 11.3 cm wide and designed specifically for the ReefMat 500. The ReefMat 1200 uses a wider 17 cm roll.

Is installation difficult?
Not at all. Simply open the ReefMat housing, swap the spent roll for a fresh one, and thread the leading edge. No tools required.
